Special Education Teacher - Stamford, CT
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year in Stamford, CT.

Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Adapt and deliver instructional materials and activities to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and other support staff to ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular updates and feedback to parents and guardians.
- Utilize a variety of teaching techniques and strategies to engage students and promote a positive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and progress.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and stay current with best practices in special education.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Valid Special Education teaching certification in the state.
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
