The Medical Claims Processor is responsible for reviewing and processing healthcare claims submitted by providers to ensure accurate reimbursement.
Location : Work from Home - All candidates must live in the Dallas Fort Worth Area & have a designated work space at home.
Starts December 3
Pay : $18-20 / hr. based on experience

Schedule : 8 hour shift between 7am-7pm CST (8am-8pm EST); Mon-Fri with an occasional Saturday as needed.
Job Description :
- Verify patient eligibility, reviewing medical documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Review claims and analyze incoming claims for accuracy and completeness, ensuring that all required documentation is attached.
- Confirm patient eligibility and medical benefits prior to processing claims.
- Accurately input medical claim information into the billing system, ensuring correct coding and documentation.
Preferred skills / experience :
- One year of healthcare call center experience
- Benefit verification - Prior Authorization
- Medical collections
- Prefer healthcare work experience and familiarity with medical benefits, medical insurance, prescriptions
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Co-pay, co-insurance, deductible
- PAP - patient assistance programs
Education :
- Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent
