Here’s What You’ll Get To Do
- Provide detail reviews of system specifications, take off drawings, and customer general material lists.
- Provide detailed estimates and / or pricing to our customers in a timely manner.
- Follow up on orders, understand and check pricing level on all order entry processes.
- Monitor actual vs. estimated costs and ensure price accuracy and adjusting standards accordingly.
- Provide consultation, coordination, and assistance to our customers, sales force, and internal personnel.
- Maintain detail and organized records on all order documents, correspondence, and other project specific information.
- Establish a critical path and personal best practices for timely processing of stock / modified doors, frames, window / curtain wall projects.
Here’s What We’re Looking For
- Must have a strong MS Word and Excel Office Skills.
- Organized with the ability to handle numerous projects and prioritize workload.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to read and understand architectural drawings, specifications, and customer request for pricing.
- Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision with solid memory retention and focus.
- An uncompromising safety-first approach in the workplace. At OBE we have each other’s back.
Physical Requirements
- Primarily works in an office environment with controlled climate.
- Ability to perform light hand work at a computer / telephone station in an office environment.
- Some duties may involve being in a plant environment where noise levels can be moderate to high and be subject to the same general climate conditions of the region (heat, cold, humidity, etc.)
- Ability to wear a hard hat, steel-toes boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
- Ability to lift, bend, twist, walk, and reach occasionally.
