Responsibilities :
- Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.
- Create and expand R2C's footprint and build top of mind awareness.
- Demonstrate a complete knowledge of the company, its values and growth philosophy.
- May assist in proposal development & in-person client presentations.
- Follow-up and record feedback on lost business opportunities.
- May participate in Business Development meetings by providing updates on current proposals and future potential opportunities.
- Demonstrative a proactive work ethic in anticipating future needs.
- Maintain good relations with a variety of people.
- Must be willing to work outside of regular office hours.
- Some travel may be required.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevent Technical field such as Engineering, Physical Sciences, or Mathmatics.
- 3-7 years of business development or project management experience, preferably in the government contracting arena in the Huntsville, AL area.
- Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability
- Proven ability to work in a fast past environment and collaborate across multiple areas to achieve a common business objective.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- High energy, self-motivated, self-starter.
- Ablitity to obtain a government clearance is required.
