Chief Technology Officer

Our high-frequency trading firm is looking for a dynamic and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology team and drive the development of our trading platforms.

As the CTO, you will be responsible for creating and executing the technology vision, strategy, and roadmap for our firm.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the development of our trading platform and other technology solutions to ensure that they meet our trading requirements and perform optimally.
• Define and implement technology standards and processes to ensure a high level of quality in our products and services.
• Manage and mentor a team of developers, engineers, and technologists to deliver innovative solutions that exceed client expectations.
• Identify new technologies and trends that can help us gain a competitive edge and keep us ahead of the curve.
• Manage the technology budget and ensure that we allocate resources effectively to meet our business goals.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that our technology solutions align with the needs of the business.

Requirements :

• Proven experience as a CTO, technology director, or similar leadership position within a high-frequency trading firm or financial services organization.
• Strong technical skills and experience with high-performance trading platforms, algorithmic trading, and market data.
• Strong management and leadership skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing technology teams.
• Excellent strategic and analytical thinking with the ability to develop and execute complex technology strategies and plans.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in the design, development, and deployment of high-performance trading platforms and applications.
• Proven experience in managing a team of developers and technologists.
• Strong knowledge of modern software development methodologies, including agile and DevOps.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.
