About The Position
Job Title : Operating Room Technician Job Specialty : Specialized in Surgical Technology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 5x8.
0, 7 AM - 3 PM Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 1-year experience preferred License : Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS), Certification in Surgical Technology Must-Have : Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology Program Job Description : Assist in the care and maintenance of instrument trays for operating room procedures.
- Perform surgical scrub assistance.- Participate in activities related to maintenance supplies and instrument sterilization processes.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, including Infection Control, Fire and Safety, Body Mechanics, and Patient Rights / Confidentiality.
- Meet the physical ability standards required by the role. Physical Demands : Must be able to lift or assist in lifting clients.
- Ability to respond quickly in emergent situations.- Capable of using stairs and carrying equipment.- Able to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
