Job Description
Amplify Consulting Partners is seeking a highly motivated, full-time Analytic and Visualization Engineer. The ideal candidate would be reliable, personable, and team-oriented.
This position will work with stakeholders to develop and build reports / dashboards with supporting data models and measures leveraging a variety of tools to facilitate data insight conversations.

ResponsibilitiesPartner with business / domain experts to understand the questions they have on their data.Lead thorough requirements gathering for business / domain experts for a suite of PBI dashboards following similar methodology per dashboardLeverage modern BI tools (Microsoft Power BI) to extract and manipulate data from a variety of diverse sourceDevelop, maintain and perform processes to monitor data quality and integrity in platform applicationsConduct functional requirements sessions with end usersPerform analysis on datasets to understand data structure and possible metrics / visuals to answer business questionsPresent alternative ways for clients to visualize and consume their data and speak to the cost / benefits of various approaches from integrating logic in the backend to how tables / views should be formatting to maximize both adaptability and performanceWork as part of a larger visual analytics team partaking in collaboration and assisting other when neededResearch advanced analytics / visualization capabilities to improve client understanding of data insightsGenuine interest in visual analytics and openness to learn new tools in an ever changing spaceQualifications
3+ years of experience using BI tools (Power BI)Strong SQL Foundational knowledgeStrong working experience with DAX, PBI, and data sources from MicrosoftAware and able to implement features in the most recent versions of TableauComfortable troubleshooting technical problems for a client in real-timeAble to speak knowledgably to the capabilities / constrains of Power BICan function independently, owning components of a larger project while also possessing strong cross-group collaboration skills and the ability to influence stakeholdersUnderstanding of data governance principlesExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsAbility to multi-task, deal effectively with ambiguity, change in business requirements, and self-prioritize under pressureThe ability to understand business questions / pain points and alleviate with supporting dataStrong understanding of visual communication best practices, and application to design choicesStrong understanding of user experience design best practices with a human-centered approachNice to Have

SALARY AND BENEFIT HIGHLIGHTS
We consider a variety of factors when making compensation decisions. We share this to ensure transparency and set expectations for those considering opportunities with us.
The beginning salary range for this role is $85,000 to $110,000.
As you excel at Amplify, there is potential for salary increases and promotions. If you were to remain in this role, there is earning potential for this level of $150,000
