Maximize production efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization Identify equipment / resource constraints and opportunities BS in Mechanical Engineering with GPA not less than 3.3 Minimum 3 years' experience US Citizenship required due to strict ITAR regulations

Position Summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and implement fabrication and assembly processes to transition new products from R&D to production. This position is primarily geared towards products in low-rate production that consist of high-precision components and / or complex system architectures. This position will also assist in setup and process implementation for transitioning of higher-rate items to the full-scale production team.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in some or all of the following areas :
- Design of production tooling / fixtures for quality and assembly consistency
- Developing assembly work instructions
- Set up and support of new product lines
- Use of production travelers for process tracking and traceability
- General knowledge of various fabrication / manufacturing processes such as : CNC machining, sheet metal cutting / forming, injection molding, rotational molding, tube assembly fabrication
- DFM
- GD&T
