Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 07 : 00-19 : 00 Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience License : Must have WY RN license attached to resume Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC (must be through the American Heart Association) Must-Have : RQI certifications will not be accepted Job Description : Assess patients' conditions and plan and implement care plans- Treat wounds and provide advanced life support- Assist physicians in performing procedures- Observe and record patient vital signs- Ensure that ventilators, monitors, and other medical equipment function properly;
adjust ventilators / IABP as needed- Administer intravenous fluids and medications- Perform suctioning- Collaborate with fellow members of the critical care team- Respond to life-saving situations using nursing standards and protocols for treatment- Act as a patient advocate- Provide education and support to patients' families- Care for pre- and post-operative patients- May serve as case managers and policy makers, and perform administrative dutiesNote : All certifications must be attached to the submission packet for consideration.
