We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accountant role based in Riverside, California. The successful candidate will be joining our team in the distribution industry, bringing their expertise in Excel and account reconciliation to the fore.
This role will involve a range of responsibilities, including full cycle month end close, GL account reconciliation, and assistance with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger.
Responsibilities :
- Execute full cycle month end close process
- Conduct comprehensive GL account reconciliation
- Support with preparation for month / year end reporting
- Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Ensure accurate maintenance of the general ledger
- Perform bank and account reconciliation tasks
- Utilize Excel Formulas effectively in tasks such as Pivot, V-Look-up, etc.
- Maintain a detailed and organized approach towards all tasks
- Handle Journal Entries and Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
- Resolve any accounting discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner
