About the Company :
My client is looking for a strong mechanical engineer (from Senior up to Staff / Principal) to lead the design, testing and validation of their PEM Electrolyzer.
You’ll be tasked with helping prototype and then scaling designs for commercial applications.
About the Role :
Lead design, testing, and validation of stack components like flow plates, cell frames, seals, and bipolar plates to meet performance targets.
Apply knowledge of materials, coatings, thermodynamics, two-phase flow, and analysis tools (FEA, CFD) to optimize fluid flow and heat transfer.
Analyze compression settings for optimal sealing and uniform performance. Conduct stack-up tolerance analysis for precision assembly.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure scalable, manufacturable designs. Troubleshoot and resolve prototype and production issues, including field failures.
Develop testing methods to validate and improve stack components. Design tools to visualize and improve flow distribution.
