RN Charge Full Time Nights MedSurg Position Summary

Coordinates functions and activities related to a single departmental function. Position is responsible for a clinic unit.

Position coordinates the scheduling efforts of the unit RN's. Acts as liaison person to internal and external customers (i.

e., pre-hospital providers, medical and nursing staff, hospital administration). Responsible for developing and implementing plans / processes for meeting regulatory requirements.

Trains and mentors staff.

Special Skills : Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively implement change and assist with the management of departmental budget.

Must be able to independently make decisions in high-stress situations.

RN CHARGE FULL TIME NIGHTS MED SURG CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE / CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

Minimum Qualifications : Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school. Two years relevant clinical nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications : BSN. Management experience with two years supervisory. Certification in specialty area of practice preferred..

Required Certifications / Licensure : ER, ICU, Endoscopy, Tele, Cardiac Cath Lab, L&D : ACLS required upon orientation completion.
