Calling on California-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist looking for a part-time assignment, where they can determine their responsibilities! Soliant has partnered with a small school near Hayward, CA, and is seeking an SLP to either focus on direct services, or on evaluations and case management.
This is a great role for SLPs who are seeking some additional work and have the room in their schedules to do so.
Details of Soliant assignments as follows :
- W2 contract
- Duration is typically for the school year, with options for summer work discussed after Spring Break
- Speech service providers will mostly be working within school hours
- Evaluations / case management focused providers will have some flexibility to work outside of school hours.
Caseload details will be shared in a direct interview with administrators. Candidates with age group or diagnoses preferences are welcome to express that prior to moving forward with an interview.
Duties include :
- Providing speech and / or language therapy to students identified with communication disorders.
- Maintaining accurate service records of students on caseload
- Evaluating students with suspected communication disorders; making recommendations for speech and language services as needed
- Providing comprehensive written report of observations, assessment results, and recommendations within the standards established by state guidelines
- Developing speech and language goals in Individualized Education Programs
- Developing integrated goals with other education staff for students with multiple or other disabilities.
- Consulting with school staff and parents on the inclusion of materials to support speech and language development, or other areas of curriculum related to speech and language.
- Participating in the Medicaid billing process for school-based services as directed.
