Privacy Counsel
I am working with a large global player in the electronic and software space and they are looking to bring on a Privacy Attorney for a new company initiative.
This position will be based in the San Diego office and may require travel to the San Diego, Culver City, or San Mateo offices as required (approximately once per month).
This position will sit within the Data Transformation group's Data Enablement team and be a part of the team responsible for providing legal advice to the global Data Transformation (DX) teams on privacy matters regarding new and materially changed initiatives.
Qualifications :
- J.D. degree and membership in good standing in at least one state bar.
- Minimum of 2 years' demonstrable data privacy experience
- 2-5 years of related, practical legal experience working in a law firm or corporate environment.
- CIPP or CIPT certification
- Experience drafting privacy compliance documentation for consumer products or services.
- Experience providing practical advice on privacy-enhancing technologies such as privacy impact assessment for consumer products or services.
