Job Description :
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administration Coordinator / Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating administrative tasks, looking up drawings, managing emails, and providing accurate estimates for projects.
This role requires experience with estimation software and processes.
Key Responsibilities :
Administrative Coordination :
- Organize and maintain project files and documentation.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment.
Estimating :
- Review project drawings and specifications to understand scope and requirements.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely cost estimates for projects.
- Analyze labor, material, and time requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project goals.
- Utilize estimating software and tools to streamline the estimating process.
Communication :
- Maintain open lines of communication with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Provide regular updates on project status and any changes to estimates.
Documentation :
- Ensure all estimates and supporting documentation are complete and accurate.
- Track and report on project costs and budget variances.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as an estimator in a relevant industry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting project drawings and specifications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in using estimation software and tools.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
