SQIRL : Hiring Front of House Member

This is a hybrid Front of House role as you may be a runner / server one day followed by a cashier the next. You need to be a people person, enjoy being part of a team, and appreciate quality food and food service - what hospitality means.
You will also need to enjoy moving aorund the restaurant!
The FOH member will be responsible for maintaining a pleasant atmosphere for guests in the restaurant. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality and have a high level of service skills and interpersonal skills.
Job Overview
- Oversee table maintenance
- Communicate about wine - producer, place, varietal, method with nuance and care.
- Continually grow knowledge of coffee, wine, food items and customers
- Take / serve orders and answer all guest inquiries
- Deliver drinks & food to tables
- Collaborate with other Sqirl servers, Management and Culinary colleagues
- Handle complaints or challenges with a positive attitude
- Maintain the quality and consistency of the guest experience
Requirements
- 2 years experience in a lifestyle hospitality environment preferred
- Extensive Wine knowledge
- Service-oriented and passion for hospitality
- Register / Cash handling experience
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Proactive attitude with strong organizational skills
- Flexible schedule - Willing and able to work shift duties that may include evenings, weekends and holidays
