Service Technician

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Installation and Commissioning :
• Execute on-site installation of fruit sorting equipment, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
• Conduct comprehensive commissioning tests to validate equipment performance.
• Maintenance and Repairs :
• Perform routine maintenance on sorting machines to prevent downtime and ensure long-term reliability.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, implementing timely and effective solutions.
• Execute repairs and replace faulty components to restore equipment to optimal condition.
• Customer Training :
• Provide comprehensive training to customers on equipment operation and routine maintenance procedures.
• Offer guidance on best practices for maximizing sorting efficiency and minimizing disruptions.
• Documentation :
• Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including installation, maintenance, and repairs.
• Generate detailed reports for customers and internal teams, documenting findings and recommendations.
• Remote Support :
• Utilize remote monitoring tools to assess equipment performance and troubleshoot issues remotely.
• Collaborate with customers via phone or online platforms to guide them through problem resolution.
• Continuous Improvement :
• Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback on equipment performance and contribute to product improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to enhance technical knowledge and skills.

Skills and Qualifications :

• Electrical Skills :
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including PLCs and control panels.
• Mechanical Aptitude :
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components.
• Experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in industrial machinery.
