H&E Equipment Services has an opening for a Shop Technician. Shop Technician responsibilities include repairing and maintaining various types of aerial and earth moving equipment while primarily servicing rentals and some customer owned equipment.
Job Requirements :
- Able to read schematics (both hydraulic and electrical)
- Perform annual certifications and inspections
- Capable of accomplishing most repairs with minimal supervision
- Computer literate with the ability to process information
- Strong work ethics with a commitment to quality
- A history of safe work habits
- Maintains a great attitude toward work
- Able to lift up to 40lbs
Job Qualifications :
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Three (3) to Five (5) years' experience repairing construction equipment; vocational training may substitute for half of the required experience
- Hard down / Major repair skills are required
- History of working with different forms of heavy equipment is preferred, specifically excavators, forklifts, boom lifts, compactors and other types of aerial and earthmoving equipment
