Requirements :
- Bachelors degree in education and then masters or Doctoral Degree in Special Education or Teaching Students with Special Needs
- SPED Teachers usually specialize or focus on teaching certain students (K-12th, Mild-Moderate Level Students, or even Severe Autistic students).
These specifications may be listed as endorsements on their license.
- Often work with student evaluations : IEPs (Individualized Education Program / Plan)
- Must hold and Active Special Education State Teaching License
- VOCO : Must have State License, 2 Years of School Experience, and Education Certificate if required.
- Teaching credential with ANY of the 6 Sped endorsements

- Start & End Date : 2024 - 2025 New School Year
- Hours : Full Time & Part Time available
- Caseload Details : More details can be discussed during an interview.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Providing specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities, tailoring approaches to meet individual learning goals and needs.
- Assessing student progress, adapting curriculum materials, and implementing behavior management techniques to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
