Operating Room Registered Nurse
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at the Open Heart Operating Room. This individual will be responsible for independently planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in patient care situations using standards of care and policy and procedure.
The ideal candidate will provide direct nursing care to patients, assume teaching and leadership responsibilities, and participate in unit committee and quality improvement activities.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida.
- One year of recent OR experience is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Intermediate computer knowledge : Uses Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
