Dallas, TX - hybrid, 3 days onsite

Compensation : $185-225K + 20% Bonus

One of Vaco's midmarket clients is looking to onboard an SVP of Accounting as part of a succession plan. The ultimate goal is for this person to step in to the outgoing CFO's role within the next 3-5 years.

Ideal candidates will be keeping out of high-volume transactional environments with prior experience with M&A / integrations, managing the treasury side of the business, exposure to the private equity world and managing large teams (20-30.

Experience coming out of the professional services or business outsourcing space is a huge plus.

On top of a growth track, company offers unlimited PTO, well-established culture and tenure (most folks have been there 5-10+ years) and the support of a much-larger parent company that operates globally.

Responsilbities

• Manage the finance and accounting functions, including financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and reports.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and financial performance.
• Develops budgets for each department, analysis on M&A transactions and leads the integration process for acquired companies
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's long-term goals.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Provide insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors on financial performance and strategies.

• the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
• licensure and certification requirements;
• office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
