Job Opportunity : Remote Sign Language Interpreter
VocoVision is hiring a Remote Sign Language Interpreter to support a school district. This role allows you to provide essential interpreting services to students while working from home.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Provide real-time sign language interpretation for students during virtual classes and meetings.
- Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and school staff.
- Adapt interpreting style to meet the needs of individual students.
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and other school-related events as needed.
Qualifications :
- Certification in Sign Language Interpretation.
- 3.5+ Performance EIPA
- Experience in an educational setting preferred.
- Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment.
