ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTURE SENIOR CONSULTANT (DIRECTOR) - DATA ARCHITECTURE EXP - DIRECT CLIENT - FULL TIME - HYBRID IN DALLAS, TX

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architecture Senior Consultant (Director) with a strong focus on Data Architecture to lead and drive our data strategy across the organization.

This role is critical for ensuring that our data architecture aligns with business goals, technology strategies, and industry best practices.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data management, data governance, and data architecture, with a proven track record of leading large-scale data transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead Data Architecture Strategy : Develop and implement the enterprise data architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with the organization's business objectives and technology roadmaps.
• Data Governance : Establish and oversee data governance frameworks, including data quality, data management, and data lifecycle management practices.
• Technology Leadership : Provide leadership in selecting and implementing data technologies and platforms, including data lakes, data warehouses, and cloud-based data solutions.
• Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with business leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable and sustainable architectural solutions.
• Data Integration : Design and oversee data integration strategies, ensuring seamless data flow across various systems and platforms.
• Risk Management : Identify and mitigate risks related to data architecture, including security, compliance, and data privacy.
• Innovation : Stay current with emerging trends in data architecture and technology, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance data capabilities.
• Team Leadership : Mentor and guide a team of data architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications :

• Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced certifications in Data Architecture, Cloud Architecture, or related areas are highly desirable.
• Experience : 10+ years of experience in data architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership or consulting role. Proven experience in driving large-scale data transformation initiatives.
• Technical Expertise : In-depth knowledge of data management, data governance, and data architecture principles. Expertise in modern data platforms, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and big data solutions.
• Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable data strategies.
• Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Leadership : Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.

Preferred Experience :

• Experience in the financial services, healthcare, or technology industries.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to data privacy and security (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Hands-on experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and business intelligence tools.
