We run flatbeds with conestogas / curtainside trailers.
- Pre & Post Trip - Inspecting vehicles to ensure they are properly equipped with warning lights, flags, and labels indicating hazardous materials are being carried* Following all laws regarding traffic rules, speed limits, and safe driving practices when transporting hazardous materials* Reporting any unsafe conditions of the transportation vehicle to the appropriate supervisor* Ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed and filed in accordance with federal regulations* Following standard operating procedures for loading and unloading hazardous materials safely and efficiently* Ensuring that all safety equipment is functioning properly before transporting hazardous materials* Maintaining detailed records of all shipments of hazardous materials* Reporting any incidents involving hazardous materials to supervisors or authorities as required by law* Ensuring that the vehicle is in good working order before each trip by performing inspections on the engine, tires, lights, brakes, etc.
