Accountant
Sacramento, CA (onsite)
Are you someone with at least two years of accounting experience from the non-profit industry? Do you have a strong attention to detail and experience working in QuickBooks software?
We are looking for an accounting professional for a new role here in Sacramento, CA. If you have a blend of accounting and billing experience, please apply today!
Key Responsibilities :
- Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist with monthly reimbursement claims and program expense reports.
- Assist with backup documentation for monthly billings, monitoring, and audits.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Manage grant allocations.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications :
- At least two years of accounting experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience using QuickBooks online.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in the non-profit industry.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
