As a leader in the Cloud-Native Application Protection Platforms (CNAPPs), Attack Surface Management (ASM), Vulnerability Management (VM), Policy Compliance, and Threat Remediation solution space, Qualys seeks a technical marketer with fantastic written communication skills aimed at cutting-edge cybersecurity technology.

In this role, you will be translating technical use cases into concise content that converts technical security buyers to customers, so being a self-starter and researcher is key.

This is a high-visibility, high impact role, you will work closely with product management and engineering as part of the Product Marketing organization, reporting directly to the Vice President of Product Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Qualys bottom and middle of funnel content editorial strategy and calendar, working closely with the outbound marketing team and product marketing to curate company objectives with content requirements.
  • Write, co-write, or edit blogs, working directly with the lead on blog editors.
  • Interview customers on their cyber risk transformation journey with various Qualys applications and solutions, translating them into technical content materials ranging from white papers, research reports, web copy, and solution briefs.
  • Support AR and PR initiatives with technical oversight and messaging.
  • Own customer and field enablement assets, proactively updating content at key intervals and product moments.
  • Contribute to product-demo scripting, keynote writing, and other content workstreams.

Qualifications

Required / Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience working in cybersecurity, with emphasis on cloud security applications, vulnerability management, or similar.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Journalism, Political Science, Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field + 5 years' experience
  • OR master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Political Science, Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years' experience in business or journalism
  • OR equivalent experience
  • Experience in technical writing and / or engineering in technology or technology-focused publication
  • Demonstrable ability to deliver excellence against tight deadlines, multiple stakeholders, and ongoing change.

Annual Salary Guidelines : $135,000 - $155,000
