Position Responsibilities may include :

  • Gather, analyze and prepare information for insurance underwriting submissions and applications to support the merger and acquisitions insurance portfolio renewal.
  • Maintain and monitor data for all insurance purchased under the Portfolio of Coverage.
  • Develop reports on current and historical claim activity.
  • Routinely update the Risk Management website with current information and documents.
  • Facilitate, implement and maintain the Risk Management Software program and be the point person liaising with software provider.
  • Prepare, complete all requests for claim and insurance payment and maintain a database of payments.
  • Review, analyze and interpret Insurance lease provisions to cross-functional teams (real estate and legal) and orders the appropriate
  • Certificate of Insurance (COI) to support the agreement.
  • Maintain complete database on certificate of insurance. This includes reviews, issuance and distribution.
  • Experience with insurance placement and coverages.
  • Quarterly preparation of payroll reports for the claims and insurance mgr. and input daily claims to the database system.
  • Ability to develop and analyze trends and metrics to set strategy and objectives for insurance renewals.
  • Provide in-depth support to team members.
  • Maintain the drug screen allocation spreadsheet.
  • 15% travel required.
  • Perform additional projects / duties to support ongoing business needs

  • Manages projects and processes while working independently and with limited supervision
  • Coaches and reviews the work of lower-level professionals problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex; takes a new perspective on existing solutions

Knowledge & Skills :

  • Knows and applies fundamental of risk management concepts, practices and procedures
  • Has in-depth experience in specialist function
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to provide information in a clear and concise manner and to communicate with a variety of individuals.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail, high level of accuracy and compliance oriented.
  • Excellent analytical skills - data analysis - identify trends and errors within the data and make recommendations based on findings.
  • Effective problem-solving skills - effective elimination of root cause of problems using systematic approach.
  • Must be able to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines balancing multiple and competing priorities
  • Capable of working as a team member or independently, when necessary, knows when to seek clarity
  • Results orientated, dedication to excellence and sense of urgency to achieve business objectives
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office : Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point

Experience :

  • 5 plus years of progressive experience in Risk Management preferably within a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Fully competent professional
  • Merger and Acquisition analysis is preferred

Education :

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience

Work Location : Hybrid work schedule; 3 days a week in office located at 3033 Campus Drive, Plymouth, Minnesota, 55441
