Responsibilities of a Project Manager

As a Project Manager at Gehman Design Remodeling, you'll lead the project from start to finish. You will be the face of the company, ensuring safety, efficiency, and client satisfaction every step of the way.

Team Coordination & Leadership : Oversee anyone involved in the remodeling project to ensure the plan is clear, expectations are understood, and everyone works seamlessly to achieve the end goal.

Lead and mentor production staff, including, training, and evaluating performance.

• Site Management : You will strategize and oversee one project site at a time to ensure safety and efficiency. You will work with your tools on to manage in house tradesmen and sometimes outside trade partners, work with our office based Production Supervisor to order materials and schedule day to day work.
• Clear Communication : Facilitate transparent communication through pre-construction meetings, precise documentation, and regular collaboration with clients, team members, and trade partners to foster trusting relationships throughout the project.
• Client Satisfaction : Manage client services and address concerns throughout the project to maintain high satisfaction standards.

Skills and Experience Requirements for The PM Role

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in remodeling construction.
• Proficient with framing, plumbing, electric, drywall, tile, cabinet installation, interior trim carpentry, hardwood flooring skills, and more at a Master Craftsman level.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of all trades related to remodeling.
• Proficient with Jobtread or similar construction management software.
• Able to read, analyze, and interpret technical / non-technical documents.

How We Take Care of Our Project Manager :

• $27.50 - $32.00 depending on experience
• 4 day work week 10 hour days, 7am - 5pm Monday - Thursday
• Employer-paid health, vision, and life insurance for employee
• Health, vision, and dental insurance options available for family
• 401K with 100% company match for first 3% , and 50% match up to 5%
• Holiday Pay (8 days)
• Paid Time Off (starting at 1 week of PTO after 1 year of employment)
• Compensation for Service Projects : The company pays normal wage for ½ of the time off an employee uses for pre-approved community service, mission trips, etc.

up to 1 week per year.
