DAY-TO-DAY

As a Junior ServiceNow Developer, you start your day by reviewing the latest updates and tasks on Sponsor's Global Infrastructure Business System (GIBS) custom application suite.

You participate in stand-up meetings with the integrated ServiceNow delivery team where ongoing development projects and process improvement initiatives are discussed.

Additionally, you collaborate closely with other platform product owners and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with Sponsor's goals and governance structure.

You provide valuable business process analysis and gather requirements to enhance the functionality and user experience of the ServiceNow platforms.

Your Developer role includes supporting product and project management efforts to maintain transparent oversight of Sponsor's ServiceNow projects, always aiming to reduce waste and boost user satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with web development technologies, specifically JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Proven experience developing ServiceNow, advanced software development, or low-code platform experience with the ability to learn ServiceNow
• Experience in business process analysis, evaluating customer needs, documenting processes, and translating them into technical requirements
• Demonstrated experience in system evaluation, identifying performance indicators, and implementing improvements
• Experience in process improvement, analyzing functions and requirements, and identifying gaps
• Knowledge and experience in program management, project task management, and customer relations
• Experience in IT and systems lifecycle management, managing review boards, and change / release processes
• Displayed experience in knowledge management, developing feature release descriptions, and technical artifacts

Preferred qualifications include :

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, or requisite ServiceNow training
• Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF)
• Experience with ServiceNow application suites (IT Service Management, IT Business Management), developing dashboards, and using Performance Analytics
• Proven experience with ServiceNow project management applications
• Experience with Sponsor's IT service providers
• Experience advising Sponsor personnel on processes, practices, and policies
• Proficiency with cloud architecture, including beyond Sponsor's legacy environments
