At our core, we are an online platform that empowers students' worldwide access to the highest levels of education. We are seeking a part-time Chief Investment Officer who will help with a capital raise of $2M to $5M from venture capital firms, family offices and high-net worth individuals.

You must have a demonstrable background in raising funds to be considered. Full-time employment will be considered and is preferable based upon performance.

Compensation will be discussed during the interview process.

Initial Primary Core Functions :

  • Establish and nurture investor relationships
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials, placement materials and strategies
  • Successfully raise and close capital investments

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing with colleagues and external partners representing a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds
  • Strong teamwork and leadership capabilities
  • Excellent organization skills and an unwavering ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills
  • Well developed relationship management skills and ability to independently grow and manage a sophisticated and diverse pipeline of investors

Candidates Must Demonstrate :

  • A demonstrable proven track record in raising funds
  • Existing investor network of ultra-high-net-worth and high-net-worth individuals, family offices and institutions are essential.
  • 2-10+ years of banking, institutional sales, investor relations / fundraising, fund placement advisory, asset / investment management experience.
  • Proactive sales / business development skills.
  • Results-driven, detail-oriented, and a self-starter with excellent collaboration skills.
  • Dynamic and entrepreneurial personality.

Education / Certifications :

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field; an MBA is preferred
