Dollar Concrete Construction Company is a full-service concrete specialty contractor located in Norcross, GA, furnishing the dependability and technology required for the construction of a wide variety of construction projects throughout the Southeastern U.

We are searching for a dedicated and dependable Estimator / Project Manager who would like to join our team. Job Duties :

  • Fully review and be familiarized with project bid documents (drawings & specifications) for quantity take-off and evaluations for bid.
  • Quantify concrete foundations, slabs on grade, slabs on deck, cast in place walls, site paving, curbs, sidewalks, etc., as well as associated specialty concrete items including reinforcement and accessories.
  • Generate and issue invitations to bid for suppliers and supporting providers.
  • Compilation and evaluation of supporting supplier pricing.
  • Generate and submit Requests for information (RFI’s) pertaining to the bid process as necessary.
  • Correspond with client representatives regarding project information, addenda and bidding requirements.
  • Prepare and coordinate the entire estimate and proposal process, and submit proposals for bid by due date.
  • Client correspondence and follow-up concerning project bids, clarification questions, and award.
  • Daily management, collaboration and oversight of all construction activities.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, adjustments and delays.
  • Monitor and inspect onsite safety, quality and workmanship.
  • Create and manage project budgets, change orders, schedule of values, payment applications, RFI’s and submittals.

Requirements :

  • Minimum 5-years of commercial construction estimating experience.
  • Experience with On-Screen Takeoff, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with MC2 estimating software would also be a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize, schedule, and work within deadlines, as well as a willingness to work in a team environment.
