Automotive Apprentice Service Advisor Fowler Kia Longmont

Fowler Kia Longmont is searching for an Apprentice Service Advisor someone who is equally as comfortable greeting customers as they are scheduling appointments, shuttling vehicles and acting as a liaison between our customers and our service technicians.
Job Responsibilities
- Schedules service appointments. Obtains customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.
- Attitude is everything greet service department customers promptly and courteously.
- Calls to schedule special order parts appointments.
- Schedule and file claims for glass claims.
- Operate customer shuttle and Service Porter work load for moving and locating service vehicles as needed.
- Develop skills as an advisor and work Saturday business.
- Assist with writing shop purchase orders and used car repair orders.
- Writes up customer's vehicle problems accurately and clearly on repair order.
- Test drives the vehicle with customer as needed to confirm the problem or refers to test technician.
- Refers to service history, inspects vehicle, and recommends additional needed service.
- Handles telephone inquiries regarding appointments and work in process.
- Report any customer concerns to Service Manager.
Requirements
Valid Driver's License and MVR acceptable to our Insurance Carrier

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Compensation
$20.00 - $22.00 per clock hour
