Description

The Echo Sales and Marketing team is seeking a customer-obsessed, analytical, and strategic Sr. Product Manager to lead sales and marketing for a number of devices for our US Echo business.

As a Sr Product Manager, you will be the primary contact for a set of Echo products in the U.S. and work with a cross-functional team including product development, demand planning, in-stock, finance, retailers, merchandising, and advertising to develop and execute a multi-year plan to grow the Echo business.

You will own marketing funnel optimization across channels, promotion planning and execution, inventory management, sales and engagement analytics, and regular leadership presentations.

You will operate both strategically and tactically : thinking big to drive new opportunities and evaluate tradeoffs, diving deep into data to uncover customer insights, and maintaining operational excellence within your programs and with colleagues across Amazon.

You will need to be able to prioritize effectively in a fast-changing environment, invent and simplify, and communicate clearly and persuasively.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for Echo products, take strong ownership of the business, and be comfortable executing and giving feedback on new playbooks to maximize sales growth and efficiency.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in e-commerce, marketing, business management / consulting, finance and / or operations
  • 2+ years of experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
  • 2+ years of experience managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex and highly visible projects
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to drive metrics and benchmarks to ensure continuous improvement in process and business results
  • Exceptional analytical skills, ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems
  • General manager / owner mentality and an entrepreneurial drive with bias for action
  • Demonstrated high attention to detail and ability to drive insights from data
  • Experience with MS Office : Word and Excel

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000 / year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
