Senior Accountant
Overview :
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in financial accounting and reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Duties :
- Handle or manage all daily operations within the accounting department including payables, receivables, GL postings and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements and reports for senior management.
- Conduct account reconciliations and audits to maintain accuracy in financial data.
- Leverage advanced knowledge of IFRS, double-entry bookkeeping, and governmental accounting principles.
- Manage accounts payable functions and nurture vendor relationships.
- Utilize QuickBooks accounting software for efficient financial management.
- Handle payroll processing and HR-related accounting functions using Gusto.
- Apply expertise in debits, credits, and financial analysis to support corporate accounting activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast financial trends and provide strategic insights.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA certification preferred.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role.
- Strong understanding of corporate accounting practices and financial reporting requirements.
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Gusto or other similar payroll systems, with advanced skills in Excel and Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical abilities to interpret complex financial data.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
- Healthcare experience is a plus.

Pay : $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
