Project Manager (Technical Writer)

Location : Raleigh NC / Remote

Seeking an expert Technical Writer (PM) with at least 10-15 years of experience

Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality documentation that conveys regulatory / industry requirements and is appropriate for its intended audience(s).
  • Work with internal teams to obtain understanding requirements and associated impacts.
  • Develop and modify existing policies and standards to adhere to current industry framework or regulatory requirements.

Requirements and Skills

  • Proven experience in technical or legal writing (i.e., Policies, Standards).
  • Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and make them easily understandable.
  • Excellent written skills.
  • Solution-oriented self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks and reach deadlines with minimum supervision.
  • Basic familiarity with information security programs and relevant industry frameworks and regulations.

Salary and Other Compensation

Applications will be accepted until 6 / 27 / 2024.

The Salary for this position will be $106,000 to $132,000 yearly depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.

Work Authorization

Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.).
