Location : Remote (California-based), Contracted through Bilingual Therapies
Job Description : As a Remote Speech Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting the communication needs of our students in a virtual setting.
We are looking for a professional who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of students and can start immediately.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct remote assessments to identify and diagnose speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Provide engaging virtual therapy sessions to students with speech and language challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the virtual learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
- Adapt therapy techniques to suit virtual sessions.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or state equivalent.
- California state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Proven experience in a school setting or with remote therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective virtual collaboration.
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to suit virtual sessions.
