Responsibilities
The Intensive Care Unit Nurse (ICU RN) will :
- Plan, provide, and monitor individualized nursing care in response to specific patient needs
- Provide developmentally appropriate psychosocial and clinical care
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with all members of the healthcare team
- Perform other duties, as assigned
Qualifications :
- 2+ years of experience with an Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Cardiac Care background
- Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
- Patient oriented
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Desired Skills :
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
