Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Orientation and Mobility or Special Education, Certification as a Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist (COMS), and 1+ years Orientation and Mobility Specialist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Guide Student Independence : Orientation and Mobility Specialist - Corpus Christi, TX
We are seeking a dedicated Orientation and Mobility Specialist (OMS) to join our team in the Corpus Christi, Texas area for the 2025 / 26 school year with an immediate start through May 28, 2026 per the school calendar. This part-time position offers 16 hours per week, with a schedule currently set for 2 days per week (8 hours per day). You'll provide specialized instruction to students with visual impairments, helping them develop the skills needed to navigate their environment safely and independently. We offer exceptional compensation at $62+ per hour based on experience.
