BIM Leader

We are seeking to enhance our Virtual Design & Construction department with a BIM Leader who has a passion for teamwork and customer satisfaction. This leader will work closely with our dedicated team to produce efficient, high-quality BIM solutions. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of BIM standards and workflows, supporting consistency and productivity across all projects.

The following are the most essential job responsibilities of a BIM Leader within the Lasco scope :

Effectively execute VDC operations, specifically related to framing & drywall scope, while offering support to both in-office and on-site team members.

Maintain current and accurate drawings / models while tracking construction updates and provide reflecting progress reports upon request.

Identify potential project efficiency opportunities, offer solutions to streamline project success, and address complex challenges.

Prepare coordinated shop drawings for pre-fabrication use and provide solutions to improve project schedule and efficiency.

Lead BIM-supported collaboration with multiple projects & trade partners while keeping the Lasco team informed of issues and solutions.

Timely and accurate interpretation of contract documents, project scope and customer expectations.

Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate will possess the following :

Advanced software experience in Autodesk, specifically Revit and AutoCAD, with proficiency in BIM authoring and analyzing.

Desire to join a flat-team environment that involves full transparency, collaboration and a people driven approach.

Earned education or equivalent industry experience as a VDC Professional.

Experience in architecture and construction engineering. An understanding of drywall framing is strongly preferred but not required.

Ability to understand technical drawings and plans with knowledge of working in a VDC-related position.

Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills.
