Job Title : Nordstrom Merchandising Intern

Nordstrom is seeking summer interns who are exceptionally motivated and possess high levels of curiosity to join our merchandising organization. As a Nordstrom Merchandising Intern, you'll play a dual role dedicated student and valued team member. Successful Merchandising Interns will also have the opportunity to join Nordstrom full-time upon completion of their degree.

A day in the life...

• Be assigned to a specific buying squad and participate as a member of the team.
• Develop an understanding of the needs, wants and expectations of the customer.
• Be a student of the business regarding effective analysis and decision making to improve department performance.
• Learn the role of an entry level merchant by working shoulder to shoulder with our expert buying teams.
• Work on an independent impact project to present to the buying and leadership teams.
• Attend executive speaker events with plenty of opportunities to ask questions.

The summer internship program is 10 weeks and will take place June 8 - August 14 in Seattle, WA. Housing will be provided for individuals living 30 miles or further from the Nordstrom corporate offices. We anticipate hiring decisions being made by November 2025. The hourly pay for this role will be $25.00.
