We Are Hiring : Registered Nurse (RN) - Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital ICU - .9 FTE (Nights)

Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital's Intensive Care Unit is a 16 bed, blended unit which includes medical surgical intensive care beds and intermediate care beds.

Schedule Details : 7pm - 7 : 30am, Requires every other weekend rotation, and alternating holidays.

What You Will Do :

You will perform a range of tasks including performing diagnostic tests, conducting follow-up visits, monitoring patient recovery, and responding to medical emergencies.

In addition to having a highly analytical mindset, our ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities :

• Assess, implement and coordinate complex care and interventions
• Support a compassionate and therapeutic environment for critically ill patients
• Provide comfort and prevent suffering
• Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient's medical condition.
• Collaborate with patients, their families, their healthcare providers, and healthcare professionals
• Act as patient advocates
• Arrange and oversee continuous monitoring and nursing vigilance
• Administer pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments

What You Will Need :

• Associate's degree in nursing required, bachelor's preferred
• Registered Nurse licensure in State of WI or the ability to obtain
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or ability to obtain upon hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification or ability to obtain upon hire
• NIHSS Certification or ability to obtain upon hire
