Completion of the proposed sale of Vantive to funds managed by the Carlyle Group is subject to receipt of customary regulatory approvals and satisfaction of other closing conditions.

Your role

The Senior Marketing Manager, Service will establish and direct marketing strategy across our Vantive Service portfolio. You'll lead key strategic and tactical Service Marketing initiatives.

You'll also drive the Service portfolio expansion strategy, building business case rationale to increase revenue opportunities through 3rd party partnerships.

Key responsibilities :

  • Thorough and accurate in all aspects of service offerings related to pricing, volume, commitment levels, and total revenue / profit for Baxter.
  • Rapid mastery of the U.S. Kidney Care business, products, and customers to drive for maximum value-creation.
  • Able to analyze current service interactions and drive identify optimum business to a decision through clear, concise, and compelling recommendations to our commercial organization and leadership.
  • Provide balanced and nuanced inputs to individual deals to ensure alignment with overall strategic priorities.
  • Ability to manage large quantities of data from multiple sources in an organized, structured manner to guide strategic decisions.
  • Assist contract and legal teams in supporting customer contracts decisions while also maintaining oversight of entire agreement to ensure alignment with commercial objectives.
  • Deal reporting for service organization tying outcomes to actual P&L performance by working closely with Finance, Operations, and Commercial Excellence teams.
  • Key partner to our marketing teams to carry out targeting and pricing goals and priorities.
  • Creation of strategic vision over short and medium term plans.
  • Drive innovation on digital service offerings - what does the future look like and how do we get there?
  • Business plan creation / contribution to new service offerings and product launches.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to analyze potential BD and M&A opportunities.

  • Planning Skills - Strong mastery of near, mid and long term horizons for specific therapies that are served by US Kidney Care products and services.

Ability to juggle multiple requirements within a short and medium term plan that allows multiple goals to be achieved.

  • Communications - Ability to develop / execute verbal and written communication plans, messaging, and brand campaigns across multiple stakeholders, organization levels and functions.
  • Leadership - Ability to earn respect, lead with and without direct reporting responsibility and align with / represent decisions to others.
  • Customer Focus - A passion to represent Voice of Customer of patients / professionals to understand unmet market needs / cost-effective solutions.

A proven track record of managing high profile customer relationships, including Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).

  • Clinical Expertise - Clinical background incorporating Education, dialysis and / or Acute care.
  • Strong Team Player - High energy team player with a focus on meeting commitments / contributing to a high-performance culture, work in a multicultural matrix environment and build strong collaborative relationships with a diverse group of cross-functional team members including Medical Affairs, Quality, Regulatory, Industry partners, and sales teams.
  • Quality and Ethics - Strong understanding of QA requirements for Medical Devices. Ability to make the right decisions for our patients, customers, and stakeholders.

Knowledge of the healthcare environment and demonstrated ability to manage Medical Devices to ensure compliance to guidelines.

What you'll bring :

  • BS / BA required, MBA preferred, in marketing, business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in marketing or background in a changing but analytical work environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully development and executing marketing pricing strategies that drive services and product growth and customer stability.
  • Strong analytic and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Professional report-out abilities to peers, supervisor, and executive leadership.
  • Skilled in simplifying the complex.
  • Ability to understand market trends and customer needs.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking ability with identifying needs and figuring out solutions.
  • Positive demeanor with a steadfast drive for optimal results.
  • Collaborator with ability to bring team members and key customers together to reach a common goal.
  • Ability to innovate and develop new insights through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including presentation, negotiation, and teamwork.
  • Objective and fact-based in all aspects of decision-making.
  • Previous experience in healthcare is strongly preferred.

The estimated base salary for this position is $136,000 to $187,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position.

We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change.

Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
