Senior Technical Accountant and Analyst - KBW Financial
KBW Financial has partnered with a global company to identify a Senior Technical Accountant and analyst. The role is a blend of working on technical accounting issues and analysis and budgeting.
This role is ideal for public accounting backgrounds with technical accounting experience - offering exposure to a variety of complex GAAP / IFRS matters impacting the business.
Additional details include : Responsible for ongoing monitoring of business activities against defined triggers and compliance requirementsCoordinate directly with financial planning, financial reporting and finance operations to drive continuous improvement for the businessManage the design, development and maintenance of technical and complex accounting transactions and financial reportingResponsible for supporting the build out and standardization of common financial reporting standards across the full end to end processDevelop and execute broad reaching and business-related accounting policies and analytics for related end to end process area.
Key contributor to drive the overall financial performance metrics roadmapCreate Budgets and forecastsMonitor financial transactions and recommend changes to accounting guidance and transaction structures appropriate.
Analysis of multiple complex problems at the underlying process level, including research of accounting standards and documentation of position papers.
Drive and support adherence to accounting standards (GAAP / IFRS) as part of developing and managing an effective financial reporting process Requirements : BS in Accounting or relatedCPA preferredKnowledge of GAAP IFRSAdvanced ExcelKnowledge of Lean Six Sigma preferredAbility to research technical accounting issuesExperience with interpreting new accounting standardsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detailStrong communication skills - both oral and writtenInterested candidates should send a Word copy of their resume to [email protected]#LI-SD2KBW789
