As our Production Manager you will be responsible for the overall management of all production departments and all activities in the factory to ensure acceptable safety, housekeeping, quality, productivity, employee conduct, and performance criteria are achieved.
Ensure that a continuous improvement methodology is applied throughout the scope of responsibility.
Qualifications & Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance or related field preferred
- 5 or more years of Management experience in manufacturing / assembly environment
- 5 or more years of leadership experience with direct reports
- Strong communication and organizational skills to support process, manufacturing, and design engineering functions
- Excellent written and verbal communications with the ability to share knowledge at appropriate levels of the organization

What will you be Accountable for?
- Leading the strategic direction of the production team
- Manages SQDIP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity) boards for each work center and objectives are continuously improving
- Maintains a safe work environment throughout the production operations
- Maintains excellent employee relations, keeping staff regularly informed of changes, engaged to drive low turnover - Identify and execute staff development plans
- Mentors and leads production supervisors / leads and other direct reports to grow and develop a highly effective team of professional leaders
- Assists with personnel decisions including hiring, terminations, wage decisions, and promotions
- Supervising, training, and developing the Production team
- Responsible for the quality performance of the department, including internal NCRs, customer rejections, etc.
- Maintaining the organization of the production floor, including WIP, Safety, and 5S
- Customer Satisfaction - Meet customer delivery and quality commitments and is responsive to customer needs
- Maintains AS9100, ISO 9001, and ITAR standards for the facility
- Culture and Talent Development - Champion the Winchester culture and set clear goals and expectations
How will you Collaborate?
- Leads by example, holds people accountable, and utilizes data to make informed decisions
- Empowers the production workforce to solve issues through the Tiered meeting structure
- Works with all Production support functions to resolve production related issues
- Works with Supply Chain, Engineering, Customer Service, and Sales to ensure all production orders are properly executed, from receiving parts to shipping
- Partner with management, engineering, sales, employees, vendors, and customers to have a positive impact on the organization
What are you Empowered to do?
- Works closely with purchasing, and engineering departments to maintain schedules and implement changes and revisions in operational procedures
- Set a strategy within your team to achieve or exceed the desired results
- Review production methods, workstations, practices, and procedures to improve the department's efficiency
- Define, select and allocate resources (people, materials and machinery) to meet objectives
- Lead and promote Continuous Improvement events and activities
- Identify knowledge gaps and provide / propose required training to improve performance
- Define, modify, or improve product flow to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Focuses on driving Safety, quality, and productivity

Pay Transparency :
Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000 (DOE), plus incentive compensation.
Exact salary will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and any other factors Winchester Interconnect Corporation considers relevant to the hiring decision.
