LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our client in Independence, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, specifically within the real estate or property management industry.
This role requires a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, proven leadership skills, and expertise in Yardi software.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department.
Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support.
Coordinate with property managers and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Utilize Yardi software for financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Provide financial analysis and reports to senior management.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the real estate or property management industry.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
Expertise in Yardi software is required.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

Pay Details : $80,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
