- Drive sales growth within designated margin requirements, employing a blend of creativity and proactive tactics to identify and implement growth opportunities.
- Utilize POS data analysis to inform product and space recommendations, optimizing sales strategies.
- Collaborate with the Sales Lead to develop the annual sales forecast by category and monthly estimates, consistently challenging, tracking, and updating the data.
- Coordinate a calendar of sales presentations to customers, monitoring and addressing results, and providing support for pre-meeting planning, presentations, and post-meeting call reports.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with various company departments to address customer needs, employing a business-oriented decision-making process.
- Conduct product presentations to the account when appropriate and collaborate with Account Management to prepare line lists, pricing, and manage the completion of the quoting process.
- Support sample preparation and the modular / seasonal set turn-in process, ensuring efficient execution.
- Oversee the preparation and distribution of commitments when required, and address pricing and any other issues arising from customers.
- Assist in the development of new products by communicating retailer strategy, emerging trends, pricing structures, and other pertinent information.
- Review historical and current SKU sales trends in collaboration with the Product Development team, recommending SKU modifications, pricing adjustments, promotions, or other mix changes as necessary.
- Conduct store checks and monitor customer accounts and competitor websites to ensure competitive pricing and awareness of market trends and merchandising strategies, communicating findings back to the Product Development Team.

Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in national account management sales or buying / merchandising.
- Proficiency in retailer POS and space planning systems, preferably Retail Link and / or Luminate.
- Comprehensive understanding of the retail industry, including knowledge of omnichannel retailing.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically about the "why behind the buy".
- Excellent communication skills across written, spoken, and nonverbal channels.
- Inherent drive for understanding and insight.
- Ability to think creatively and generate innovative solutions.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a keen eye for identifying opportunities and challenges.
- Proven track record of collaborative work with individuals of diverse backgrounds and dispositions.
