SUMMARY : The Workers’ Compensation Coordinator is responsible for answering the phone, scheduling appointments, making schedule changes, answering all inquiries regarding appointments, referral authorizations and simple insurance inquires.
She / he compiles the necessary patient demographics & insurance information for each new patient and assembles the new patient charts.
She / he registers all patients and enters charges into the electronic system, is responsible for data entry processing and auditing of the medical records and patient referral authorizations at the assigned Clinic.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Minimum Experience : One (1) year experience in office, hospital or clinic setting
- Required License / Certifications : High school education required. ABM / MAB / CPI certificate (90 days upon hire)
- Has full command (verbal and written) of the English language
- Physical Requirements : Possesses the physical abilities, including heavy lifting, and perceptive acuity, e.g., visual, hearing, to satisfactorily perform all direct and indirect patient care functions.
