POSITION : Information Management Intern
TIME COMMITMENT : Minimum 15 hours per week; up to 40, 3 month commitment preferred.
On Site - No remote work available
DESCRIPTION :
Metis Technology Solutions, Inc is seeking a Information Management or like degree for our Headquarters operations in Albuquerque, NM.
This position will have the opportunity to support the redesign and implementation of the Metis Enterprise Information System.
The position will work with corporate executives to support the redesign and implementation of the Enterprise Information System utilizing SharePoint.
Individual will provide recommendations on the flow of information, access, information organization, and page design. Will work with Marketing Intern to support the overall design of the internal information system.
Employee will have the opportunity to brief ideas and recommendations to the CEO, CFO and VPs and then implement the plan with the mentorship of the executive team.
DUTIES
- Support company with the redesign and implementation of the Corporate Information System.
- Interact with executive staff to execute a variety of tasks.
- Recommend improvements to data management
- Support the improvement of the Information Security Plan.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures for Information Management.
- Work with fellow intern to provide recommendations for change to corporate Information system.

QUALIFICATIONS :
- PC, and Microsoft Office proficiency
- SharePoint proficiency is required.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and research skills
- Detail-oriented and team player
- Self-starter, proactive and responsible.
