Job Overview : A recruiting firm is seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Attorney on behalf of a prestigious law firm to join its Private Client Trusts & Estates practice.
The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in estate and tax planning, including working with high-net-worth individuals.
This role offers the opportunity to handle complex trust agreements, charitable planning, and estate administration while working alongside a highly skilled team in a dynamic environment.
Duties :
- Advise clients on estate and tax planning strategies tailored to high-net-worth individuals.
- Draft intricate trust agreements and other legal documents related to estate planning.
- Handle charitable planning and ensure proper estate and trust administration.
- Collaborate with other team members and manage multiple projects and cases simultaneously.
- Conduct thorough legal research and provide analysis for complex estate matters.
- Ensure all documents are prepared with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Engage in client meetings and effectively communicate complex legal concepts.
Requirements :
- 2-4 years of experience in trusts and estates law, preferably in a law firm environment.
- Knowledge of estate and tax planning for high-net-worth individuals.
- Strong legal drafting and writing skills with an emphasis on accuracy and clarity.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues.
Education :
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Superior academic credentials.
Certifications :
Admitted to the California State Bar.
Skills :
- Expertise in drafting trust agreements and handling estate administration.
- Strong research, analytical, and organizational abilities.
