- We are seeking a Software Engineer to support its federal client in Northern VA. The ideal candidate :
- Designing, developing, and modifying applications using Java.
- Designing software or customizing software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
- Providing the operations and maintenance of operational systems.
- Installing, managing, and securing Linux systems.
- Updating data in a RDBMS and creating and modifying stored procedures.
- Modifying existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
- Develop software system testing and validation procedures.
- Documenting code, user guides, user stories, and other references.
Knowledge of :
- Agile processes and procedures - SAFe, Scrum
- Google Web Toolkit
- Visual Basic
- Oracle or other RDBMS
- A&A process and providing support
